Obituary for Justin Johnson

Justin Mahlon Johnson, 34, of Winburne, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in Bedford, PA. Born September 19, 1984 at Jersey Shore, he was a son of Vonda K. (Wetzel) Handte and her husband Donald of Woodland and the late Jeffrey L. Johnson. Justin was a truck driver for Steven Bierley Trucking in Mill Hall. He enjoyed riding ATV’s, being outdoors, animals, camping, hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his mother, Justin is survived by his life partner Dianna Thompson of Winburne and her sons Nathaniel Thompson and Tyler Wilson; a sister Jessica Wetzel of Philipsburg and her son Aven Timko; maternal grandparents Donald & Artis Wetzel of Lamar; paternal grandmother Edith Johnson of Loganton and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and paternal grandfather Frank Johnson, Sr. A funeral service will be held at the Messiah Baptist Church in Lanse, on Tuesday, December 4 at 12pm with Rev. Earl Shawley officiating. Burial will be private at the Tylersville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday, December 4 from 10am until the hour of service at 12pm.
