Obituary for Donald Kelce Jr.

Donald L. Kelce Jr., 61, of Philipsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home. Born May 12, 1957 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Donald L. Sr., & Shirley J. (Sheroke) Kelce, who survive of Philipsburg. Don was self-employed in construction. He enjoyed watching the History, Science and Si-Fi channels, birdwatching, camping, dancing, playing cards & checkers and animals. On February 14, 2002 in Philipsburg, he married Judy L. (McCausland) Kelce, who survives at home. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a son Sean Kelce of Philipsburg, four step-children, who he cared for as his own, Rebecca, Andrew, Daniel and Victoria; three sisters Ruby Davis and her husband Gerald of Orlando, FL, Sharon Kelce of Julian and Karen Urbanik and her husband John of Milesburg; a brother Matthew Kelce and his longtime companion Jeanette of Philipsburg; two grandsons Jason Kelce and Jonathan; his beloved “Sammy” and three cats. Don was preceded in death by a son Jason Kelce and his paternal grandparents Matthew C. & Ruby (Lewis) Kelce and maternal grandparents John & Mary (Batcho) Sheroke. A memorial service will be held at a later date & time. Honoring Don’s request, there will be no public viewing. Since Don had a huge love for animals, the family would like memorial contributions in his memory to be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st St. Clearfield, PA 16830.
