Santine I. Herr, 68, formerly of Chester Hill, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. Born on December 31, 1953 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Laverne (Ropchock) Saggese Sr. Santine was a graduate of the West Branch High School and had been employed at Snappy’s (Bald Eagle), BiLo Market, Berg Electronics and General Cigar Factory. She was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and participating in the family football poll. Santine is survived by her son Michael Clay Herr and his significant other Jennifer, of Philipsburg; two grandchildren Caleb Pellerite and Emily Herr; a sister Nancy Russell and her husband Charles of Winchester, VA; and three brothers Michael Saggese and his wife Doris of Philipsburg, Benjamin Saggese and his wife Minerva of Munson and Charles Saggese and his wife Deborah of Lanse. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Wednesday, June 29 from 10am until 12pm. Rosary will be recited at 12pm with a service immediately following. Private burial will be at St. Cyril Methodius Cemetery, Winburne.
