Robert “Bob” Gordon Diviney, 74, passed away on Friday September 30, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Bob was born on August 3, 1948 in Philipsburg, PA to Betty (Gray) and Gordon Diviney of Winburne, PA.
Bob was a graduate of West Branch High School and The Pennsylvania State University. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1974. Bob worked at Penn State University in the Telecommunications Department, Bell Telephone Company of PA and then Verizon for many years until his retirement.
In his younger years, Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren and friends, being outside or going for rides through Black Moshannon State Park.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Jack (Linda), Dennis (Debbie); his children, Elisha Diviney, Carrie O’Brien (Michael), Brandon Diviney (Kathy); his 5 grandchildren, Ashlynn, Karlea, Olivia, Jaxon and Connor; as well as a niece and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Betty Diviney.
Honoring Bob's wishes, there will be no viewing and services will be private at the convenience of the family.
