Mardine K. Rodgers, 83, of Chester Hill, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Aristacare at the Hearthside, State College. Born June 30, 1934 in Brisbin, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd & Beatrice (Kephart) Kephart. Mardine was a 1952 graduate of Woodward Township High School and was of the Lutheran Faith. She worked as a homemaker. On May 2, 1962 in Houtzdale RD, she married Charles J. Rodgers, who passed away November 8, 2007. Mardine is survived by a daughter Tanja Rodgers of Chester Hill and several cousins. She was the last of her generation and was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A funeral service will be held at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 1pm with Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5 from 6 until 8pm.
