Linda Arlene Bowen, 70, of Philipsburg, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Penn Highlands Dubois. Born March 18, 1950 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Francis & Mildred Thompson. Linda was a graduate of Moshannon Valley High School and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Philipsburg. She worked at the Geisinger Medical Center in Philipsburg for over 40 years and was most recently employed by Home Instead Senior Care. Linda was a member of the Philipsburg VFW and the Carpathian Club of Hawk Run. She enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her clients. On May 2, 1980, she married William D. Bowen, who survives at home. Also surviving are two sons William M. (Dee) Bowen of Millersburg and Jeffery S. (Jennifer) Bowen of Hyde, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Honoring Linda’s wishes, there will be no public viewing and services will be private at the convenience of the family.
