Judy L. Husted Scott, 78, of Philipsburg, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg. Born January 24, 1942 in West Decatur, she was a daughter of the late Merrill Husted and Louise Mildred (McQuillen) Husted Kerfoot. Judy was a graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School. She worked as a waitress for many years and after meeting her husband Charles, they travelled cross country as truck drivers. He passed away in 2004. Judy enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches and colored pencil books. She is survived by her adopted daughter Desiree Sharmine Scott Webb of Ohio; a sister Carol A. Reiter of Philipsburg; a brother Robert D. Ryver of Fayetteville, GA; a niece Beth Gallo and husband Steve of Philipsburg; a nephew David Reiter and companion Lindsay LeFort of Philipsburg; and a great nephew Gunner Gallo. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father Walter D. “Chis” Kerfoot, her 1st husband Joseph Rice and an infant sister. Honoring Judy’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or service. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
