Joseph P. Goss Sr., 84, of West Decatur, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born January 11, 1938 in West Decatur, he was a son of the late Joseph H. and Catherine P. (Fleck) Goss. Joseph worked as a heavy equipment operator for various companies throughout his career. He was a member of the West Decatur Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Joseph is survived by children William J. Stratton of Clearfield, Jeffrey L. Goss of West Decatur, Tammy Cutler and her significant other Carrol Cowder of Clearfield, Beth A. Goss and her significant other Tom Hemphill of West Decatur and Joseph P. Goss, Jr. and his significant other Bonnie Kyler of West Decatur; a sister Faye Flickinger of Clearfield; a brother Glenn T. Goss of West Decatur; nine grandchildren Stephanie Stratton, Billy Stratton, Tyler Stratton, Johnathan Goss, Logan Goss, Jessica Wisor, Jeremiah Wisor, Heather Trinadad and Jordan Luzier and numerous great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former spouse Royetta (Washburn) Goss of Clearfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a daughter Kimberly Goss, an infant brother, a sister Anna Jean Bartley and a brother John E. Goss. A memorial service will be held at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 7pm wtih Pastor Ted Seibert officiating.
