Obituary for Hunter Kay

Hunter Gregory Kay, 21, of Osceola Mills, gained his angel wings on Monday, August 15, 2022 at UMPC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, from injuries he received in a motorcycle accident. He was born on November 8, 2000 in Tyrone, PA. He is survived by his parents Gregory S. Kay Sr. of Osceola Mills and Christina (Dixon) Jones and stepfather Nicholas Jones of Clearfield. Also surviving are brothers Gregory Kay Jr. and Shawn Kay and his wife Teresa, all of Osceola Mills, sister Shantelle (Kay) Domanick and husband Sean of Smokerun, maternal grandmother Kathy Dixon of Philipsburg, great grandparents Wayne and Nancy (Walk) Dixon of Chester Hill, step brother Nicholas Jones II of Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Hunter was currently employed at Walmart Distribution Center #6027 and at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Clearfield. He attended PO High School and later graduated from PA Cyber. Hunter had a love for riding dirt bikes, video games, spending time with family and friends and adored his dog Snickers. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William Kay and Garnet (Harpst) Kay of Osceola Mills, an aunt Shirley Ann Dixon of Philipsburg and cousin Joshua Barger of Philipsburg. Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Saturday, August 27 from 12pm until the hour of service at 1pm. Pastor Daniel L. Arter will officiate. Hunter will be laid to rest at Centre United Methodist Cemetery, Osceola Mills RD. Memorial contributions in Hunter’s memory may be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
