Obituary for Frank Magyar

Frank S. Magyar, 83, of Munson, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg. Born June 16, 1934 in New Brunswick, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph & Helen (Plavetsky) Magyar. Frank was a technician for Bell Telephone, Bell Atlantic and Verizon, until his retirement. A veteran of the US Airforce, he served during Korea. Frank was a member of the New Jersey American Legion Post 25, the Grassflat Moose and the Sportsmen Rod & Gun Club in New Jersey. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing especially deep sea fishing. On August 17, 1962 in New Brunswick, NJ, he married Monique (Marler) Magyar, who survives at home. He is also survived by a son John D. Magyar and his wife Ellen of Winburne and two grandchildren John Jr. and Tara. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joseph. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
