Edward M. Cambria Sr., 74, of Philipsburg, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Born on June 7, 1947 in Philipsburg, he was a son of the late Dorothy Shimmel Cambria. Ed was a 1966 graduate of Philipsburg High School and was of the Methodist faith. He retired from the former Philipsburg Hospital after 30 years, where he was a Unit Clerk. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards. Ed is survived by a son Edward M. Cambria Jr. and his wife Deborah of Clearfield; three daughters Tammy Cambria of Osceola Mills, Bobbie Jo Cambria and her significant other Clint Schmoke of Clearfield and Ashley Nicole Vallee and her husband Justin of Osceola Mills; 6 grandchildren Todd Miles Cambria and his wife Brittany, Amber Faith Bogacki and her husband Nicholas, Dustin Lee Cambria and his significant other Hannah Rauch, Abigail and Mackenzie Vallee and Logan Edward Schmoke; a great granddaughter Dorothy Marie Cambria and a great granddaughter on the way. Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc. 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 1 to 3 pm. A memorial service will begin at 3pm with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mock’s Hill Cemetery, West Decatur.
