Clifford P. Quick Sr., 88, of Chester Hill passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his home. Born August 20, 1930 in Philipsburg, he was a son of the late Francis Paul “Toad” & June (Williams) Quick. Clifford retired from Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. and was of the protestant faith. He was a member of the Philipsburg VFW Louis P. Jenkins Post #3450 and enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing darts. Clifford loved spending time with his family. On November 13, 1950 in Bigler, he married Ruth A. Domanick, who passed away November 16, 2004. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son Gary E. “Monk” Domanick and an infant sister. Clifford is survived by his children Shirl A. Hall of Philipsburg, Clifford P. Quick Jr. of Chester Hill, Susan J. Martin of Houtzdale and Penny L. Hood of Ramey; 15 grandchildren JJ Garito, Eric Hall, Brandi Hall, Tina Herr, Ed Herr, Jamie Wiggins, Misty Quick, Gary Quick, Christa Lentz, Brandon Martin, Tyler Martin, Michael Sunderlin, Nathaniel Sunderlin, Crystal Simmons and Jesse Hoover; 11 great grandchildren Lindsey, Ruby, Ronnie, Genesis, Tiara, Taylor, Gage, Michaela, Maddie, Madison, Daria and Johanna; and three great great grandchildren Aliya, Baylee and Willow. Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 5 at 11am with Jeb Stigall officiating. Clifford will be laid to rest in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
