Ann C. Brelo, 96, of North Philipsburg, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born July 19, 1924 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Daniel S. & Rotha M. (Blakley) Pancoast. Ann was a house cleaner for area families and businesses, including Grace United Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church and Fullington. She also drove school bus and transferred ladies to and from the Cigar Factory. On March 16, 1945 in Philipsburg, she married Auman Brelo. He passed away March 11, 2001. Surviving are three children Rev. David R. Brelo and wife Kathy of Westfield, Paul M. Brelo of North Philipsburg and Carole A. Brelo of N. Philipsburg; a sister Barbara Buck of Woodland; six grandchildren Laura Morrow, Amy Royer, David Brelo Jr., Daniel Brelo, Joseph Brelo and Kevin Laird; and 15 great grandchildren Joel Brelo, Autumn Brelo, Ayana Brelo, Andrew Brelo, Joshua Brelo, Carter Laird, Robert Morrow Jr., Sierra Morrow, Brandon Brelo, Elijah Brelo, Danielle Royer, Daniel Royer Jr., Dana Royer, Draven Royer and Davin Royer; and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by a son John E. Brelo, a grandson John E. Brelo Jr., a sister Dorothy V. Kyler and three brothers Daniel S. Pancoast Jr., Edward H. “Ted” Pancoast and Richard E. Pancoast. Honoring Ann’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and services will be private at the convenience of the family.
